Music to Listen
to
Yep! Great Music Tunes are Still
Available with a Bit of Searching - Listen to the
Music !!
I remember in the 70s the Doobie
Brothers introduced their hit song, "Listen to the Music"
. I must have played that tune hundreds of times on my
guitar. But, what about other music to listen to ? Foung any
new musical hits lately?
There are more and more ways to find
great music to listen to today, and your options for how you
listen to that music are growing. The Internet is full of
great music, much of which is the same stuff you can find in
your local music store. Before the Internet, you had to buy
your music from a music store, and quite often, you had to
buy the whole album. After a while, singles were released,
but there was no guarantee that you could find the single
you wanted.
Now, you can download music to listen
to on a variety of sites. You still have to pay for it, but
for the most part, you can choose the exact song you want
without having to purchase the entire album. You can choose
a random variety of songs and download them to your
computer. After that, you simply burn the songs to a CD or
download them into your MP3 player. This way, you have more
control over what music you want to listen to.
You can see that there's practical
value in learning more about music. Can you think of ways to
apply what's been covered so far?
You can keep your music right on your
computer if you wish. When you are craving some music to
listen to, it is as easy as opening on of the many music
players on your computer. You can use Real Player,
QuickTime, Windows Media Player, or any other you may come
across. On most computers, you dont even need a media
player of any sort, you simply pop in the CD and a control
panel will pop up.
If you have an older computer, you
might want to play music when you arent doing anything
else on your computer. When you open your media player, and
choose your music to listen to, you may find that everything
else on your computer will drag. This may also cause your
music to skip and stutter. This usually doesnt happen
with newer computers, but you never know. If your music is
skipping, or your computer is lagging, you are doing too
much at once.
When choosing music to listen to,
dont forget that the music store is still out there.
It is very easy to get your music online, but sometimes,
its fun to go buy an album. Many times you may like
one song from a CD, but you havent heard the rest. You
may be surprised to find there are many songs on that CD
that you will fall in lovewith instantly. There is still
something magical about browsing through a music store and
finding something amazing.
